Message from the Deputy Minister of Tourism Malaysia

Welcome all. I am honoured to be called upon to write a few words for the 7th edition of “Malaysia Truly Asia Travel Guide”.

Regardless of whether your purpose of visit is for adventure, experiencing a diverse culture, enjoying nature or just shopping, Malaysia is for certain the destination of choice. The beauty that Malaysia offers, the scenic spots, the fascinating and lovely beaches, the pristine and natural rainforest are some of the attractive features of our country.

The charms of the multicultural heritage of Malaysia can be found almost at all corners of the country. Every state has its own amazing art, customs and festival. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in all the events, exhibitions and festivals – be they sports, cultural, food or art – that are held in our country throughout the year. So come visit Malaysia and be among our people. Come play with us and experience the unique features that make us Malaysia. Be bowled over by our local customs, warmth and hospitality.

I would like to congratulate Aim Advertising Sdn Bhd for once again successfully publishing the bi-lingual “Malaysia Truly Asia Travel Guide” as the official travel guide. The fact that it is now in its 7th edition tells us this travel guide has been helping many tourists for many years. My thanks to the company for continuously furnishing our tourists with useful and effective information.
