Message from the President of Malaysian Association of Hotels

As President and, therefore, the representative of the Malaysian Association of Hotels (MAH), I would like to commend Aim Advertising Sdn Bhd. This is the 7th successful publication of the bilingual “Malaysia Truly Asia Travel Guide” as the official travel guide. What an achievement! I would also like to record my appreciation to the company for putting in their effort to promote and market our local tourism industry.

The tourism industry has become a major contributor to the economic growth of our country. For one who has been in the industry for many years, I am honoured and proud that I have the opportunity to play a role in assisting the government and industry to improve the standards, quality and services offered by the hospitality industry.

We have a myriad of facilities that would make the stay of our visitors pleasant and memorable. Whether you are here in Malaysia for pleasure or for business, Malaysia has a comprehensive range of quality hotels and business facilities for you to choose from.

I firmly believe that travel guides like this one can help visitors and tourists get to know Malaysia better. As the song goes, “to know Malaysia is to love Malaysia”. Guides are indeed valuable sources of information for great vacations and successful business meetings.

It is my sincere hope that my colleagues, my friends and all the stakeholders of the tourism industry come together and work toward bringing the industry to greater heights.
